'The latest celebrity to come up against planning law is Daisy May Cooper, star and co-writer of the BBC sitcom This Country. As reported in The Times in February, she is in dispute with Rebecca Ferry, the owner of a seven-bedroom former coach house that Cooper rents for £17,000 a month in the Cotswolds, having, apparently without Ferry’s consent, painted two rooms in the cottage what the landlord describes as “bright dentist chair blue”.'
