ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ is the place for music, and this summer, while the city celebrates an incredible line up of musical talent and welcomes over 1.3 million music tourists: ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ City Council has commissioned Wild in Art, the team behind the award-winning Bee in the City, to take over the streets with a brand-new art trail from 7th July to 31st August.Â
At the heart of the event there will be 50 acoustic and electric guitars donated by Mancunians, painted by artists, sponsored by businesses and displayed in shop windows and venues around the city.
At the end of the trail the decorated guitars will be auctioned to raise money for grassroots music projects and venues via the Forever ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ charity.
Businesses from across ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ are invited to step forward to support the event and sponsor a guitar.
